Case Study: Hackensack Meridian Bayshore Wayfinding

Summary:

When we began the Bayshore Wayfinding project, our goal was to implement successful navigation for everyone. Our iconography integration into wayfinding helped to create a universal language to enhance patience experience across all backgrounds and nationalities.

While keeping within the confines of brand uniformity in the Hackensack Merdian system, we were able to partner with the individual facilities to determine ways to highlight the needs of the individual campus. Our signage system is customized to Bayshore’s neutral colors and facility specifically.

While our fabrication of these signs was underway, construction broke on a new Emergency Department. As a result, one of the entrances had to be closed. Our signage utilized it’s insert-based features to re-route the traffic. Our quick change to the messaging was able to differentiate between the entrances and keep Bayshore running smoothly while their project was underway.
