NYCH+H Gotham Health Exterior Refresh

Summary:

As New York City Health + Hospitals Gotham Health continues to expand within the five boroughs, a large number of facilities were in need of exterior signage to show the community that they are part of the trusted network of healthcare providers. As a 15+ year vendor of NYCH+H, GDS was contracted to provide the signage solution to make this happen. The goal was to take these unique buildings and outfit each one with an array of assets that would convey brand consistency, regardless if you where you may live within New York City.

We began with a comprehensive survey of each location and used the collected data to formulate a plan on what would work best for each individual site. From there we put together a package of before and after renderings for every facility and delivered these with a detailed scope and cost to our partners at NYCH+H Gotham Health for review and approval.

As with most projects, revisions to the conceptual design and overall scope were conducted until all parties felt comfortable with proceeding. Unfortunately, with the global pandemic and NYCH+H unique fiscal calendar, the fabrication and installation for the first 4 sites needed to be completed within a two week time frame.

At the end of the day, all was completed and our client was ready to shift focus on the remaining locations as they entered a new fiscal year. We value our long-standing relationship with New York City Health + Hospitals and look forward to many more years of successful signage projects!
