GDS Inc. has been providing wayfinding signage, planning services and environmental graphic design concepts since 1996. While GDS has deep expertise and experience in the hospital/healthcare environment, we have also designed creative signage solutions for schools, universities, and corporate facilities.
The birthplace of GDS. Our 3,000 square foot New England location boasts both a state of the art production shop and full service administrative front office. Our seasoned team of professionals excels in developing conceptual signage designs and making them a reality. With over 50 years of combined experience it is easy to see why our presence in the Northeast grows stronger each and every year. ( 33 S. Commercial Street Suite 105 Manchester, NH, 03101 )
After establishing ourselves, we ventured into the expansion and began to offer our comprehensive services within the tri-state area. Shortly after doing so we opened a project management, graphic design and installation office to properly accommodate our clients' daily requests. Located just outside of Manhattan and moments away from the five boroughs resides our 2,000 square foot New York based shop. ( 9-20 35th Ave Suite 3E Astoria, NY 11106 )
GDS offers complete and comprehensive graphic design services. Our creative team will work directly with you to come up with visual concepts for all your signage, providing detailed drawings for your approval. We have over 15 years of experience working with clients on a myriad of design ideas, ranging from basic to highly custom, high-end signage. Most importantly, though, we design your signage to not only be aesthetically pleasing and creative, but to be fully functional and cost-effective.
Are you experiencing problems with your visitors and patients losing their way, and constantly asking your staff for directions? Let GDS perform a comprehensive wayfinding analysis, and recommend solutions that will improve the overall experience of your patients and visitors. Embracing new technologies, GDS will develop a wayfinding approach that will incorporate not only static signage, but smartphones, digital signage/kiosks, and the Web as well. A total "Closed-Loop" system.
One of the key ingredients to our success in the architectural signage marketplace is that we develop tight relationships with our clients by providing turn-key project management. Your GDS Project Manager will be responsible for seeing your signage program through from conception to completion including wayfinding consulting, graphic design, code compliance review, project cost estimating, fabrication updates, installation planning, and on-going customer service.
We offer a full range of interior signage for any and all facilities. The hallmark of the GDS sign system is its "changeability". Our system utilizes computer-generated inserts, allowing changes to signs to be made in minutes instead of days.
GDS provides exterior signage for corporate identification and Wayfinding, ranging from simple banners, to post and panel signs, monument signs, wood/carved signs, internally illuminated channel letters, pylon and monument signs.
Let GDS help make your facility ADA, NFPA and all other code compliant. We know exactly what is needed to ensure your restroom, stairwell, fire evacuation maps or any other code-required signage passes any inspection.
In 2013 we started a company to develop the leading Interactive Wayfinding & Customer Engagement Solutions for the Healthcare market in the US. Connexient integrates compelling features to deliver valued services.
GDS implements environmentally friendly practices within our all of our offices, preventing waste and encouraging recycling of office supplies and materials. We source SFI Certified copy paper that uses sustainable forest management in the production process. We recycle used paper, cardboard, and ink cartridges and bring our residual UV ink to a Hazmat facility for safe disposal.
GDS NH is located along the Merrimack River in the historic Manchester Millyard. By re-purposing the space, the interior has been retrofitted to accommodate modern technology while maintaining its historical properties on the exterior. We coordinate combined delivery and installations to reduce our emissions, ensuring that our environmental consciousness sees a project through to completion.
To extend our efforts to reduce our ecological footprint, GDS sources out to local manufacturers and suppliers that practice our same values. Our vendors assign single delivery days to our locations to reduce their carbon emissions and carry out the same recycling efforts as GDS. We are continuously researching green materials as well as low energy production processes.
